Within January-October, 2020 EU-countries imported up to 6% less tropical plywood in comparison with the previous year

In November, 2020 import volume of hardwood plywood in the USA increased by 9% in comparison with the same period of the previous year. Volumes from Indonesia increased by 38%, from Vietnam and Russia – by 20%. China, on the contrary, decreased plywood export, by 29%

Within 2020 year Russian plywood production volume decreased by 3.2% in comparison with the same period of the previous year. Hardboard production decreased by 7.1%, chipboard – by 1.5%

 

Within January-September, 2020 woodworking products export volume from Finland decreased by 16% in comparison with the same period of the previous year. Sawn timber volume decreased by 13%, plywood - by 19%, paper – by 31%

 

Russian plywood export volume within January-October, 2020 increased by 4.4% in comparison with the same period of the previous year

Within January-November, 2020 Russian plywood production decreased by 4.5% in comparison with the same period of the previous year. Hardboard production decreased by 7.3%, chipboard – by 3%

 

In September, 2020 wooden products export in Brazil increased by 21%. Timber products export increased by 35%. Pine plywood export showed 50% increase, tropical plywood – 1.7%

Within January-August, 2020 woodworking products export volume from Finland decreased by 17% in comparison with the same period of the previous year. Sawn timber volume decreased by 18%, plywood -  by 20%, paper – by 29%

Within January-September, 2020 concern “Bellesbumprom” (Belarus) produced up to 1.4% more woodworking products in comparison with the same period of the previous year. Among them were MDF, chipboard, carton, plywood, windows, doors, paper. The geography of supplies covered 66 countries.
