Within January-March, 2020 woodworking products export volume from Peru decreased by 20% in comparison with the same period of the previous year. Veneer and plywood export decreased by 8%. Chinese export share estimated 40%

Within January-June 2020 plywood production volume in Russia decreased by 5.6% in comparison with the same period of the previous year. Hardboard production volume decreased by 14%, chipboard – by 15%

In June 2020 woodworking products export from Brazil decreased by 8.5% in comparison with the same period of the previous year. Pine plywood export volumes decreased by 8.6%, tropical plywood – by 48%

 

Within January-April, 2020 EU-countries imported 27.1% less softwood plywood in comparison with the same period of the previous year. Import volume from China decreased by 52.7%, from Brazil - by 30.3%, from Chili – by 20.9%, Russia – by 7.5%

Within January-April, 2020 EU-countries and Great Britain imported by 3% more hardwood plywood in comparison with the same period of the previous year. Import volume from Belarus increased by 23%, from Ukraine - by 32%, from Russia – by 5%

 

Plywood import volume in March 2020 in Japan increased by 20% in comparison with the same period of the previous year. The main countries-suppliers were Malaysia, Indonesia, China and Vietnam

 

Within January-March 2020 wooden products export volume in Ghana decreased by 33% in comparison with the same period of the previous year. Plywood export decreased by 25%, veneer – by 7%

 

Within January-March, 2020 woodworking products export volume in Finland decreased by 23% in comparison with the same period of the previous year. Sawn timber volume decreased by 30%, paper – by 22%, plywood – by 33%

Within January-April, 2020 Russian plywood export volume increased by 9.5% in comparison with the same period of the previous year.

Within January-May, 2020 Russian plywood export volume increased by 7% in comparison with the same period of the previous year
