At the end of August, 2014 representatives of ten big companies specializing in plywood imports met in Bremen, Germany with customs office management. The reason was the problem of plywood type classification for the goods imported from China.
As the result of wrong classification EU importers are obliged to pay higher duties for Chinese plywood which influences profitableness.
