According to Bloomberg reports Steinhoff Int. Holdings Ltd. plans to further expand in Europe after rising sales on the continent helped increase full-year profit by 38%. Steinhoff operates retail stores selling furniture, kitchens, household goods, products for home decoration, electrical appliances and consumer electronics in Europe.
Steinhoff also manufactures and sells furniture at the wholesale level in Europe and provides certain logistics, supply chain management and warehousing services. In June 2013, Steinhoff acquired the Austrian furniture giant Kika-Leiner. Steinhoff owns other furniture retailers in Europe: Conforama in France, or Harveys from the UK.
