“Bellesbumprom” (Belarus) increased export of wood panels, plywood, furniture, paper to far-abroad countries to 10.7% in January, 2016 in comparison with the same period of the previous year. The main partners were France, Czech Republic, Denmark, Turkey, Poland, Latvia, Italy.

Within January, 2016 Russian plywood export increased up to 12.5% in comparison with the same period of the previous year. Export to near-abroad countries showed 45.1% decrease, to far-abroad – 21% increase. In value terms plywood estimated 11.2% decrease

Chipboard and other wooden panel products volume in January, 2016 in Russia increased up to 5.7% in comparison with the same period of the previous year. Plywood production on the contrary decreased to 1%, veneer – to 6.25%

Within 2015 year Russian plywood export increased up to 12.2% in comparison with the same period of the previous year. Export to near-abroad countries showed 17.4% decrease, to far-abroad – 17.1% increase. In value terms plywood estimated 15.3% decrease

Within 2015 timber production in Ukraine increased to 5.5% in comparison with 2014 year. Plywood production decreased to 1.9%, wood panel production – to 4.2%, veneer production increased to 3.3%.

Within 2015 timber production in Belarus decreased to 20.1% in comparison with 2014 year. Plywood production decreased to 2%, wooden furniture – to 4.7

Hardwood plywood import in the USA in October 2015 decreased to 10% in comparison with September 2015. Deliveries of Chinese plywood decreased to 118.35 m3, from Ecuador – to 10.57 m3, from Indonesia – to 30.5%.

Within January-October, 2015 plywood export in Russia increased to 11.5% in comparison with the same period of the previous year. In value terms plywood export amounted to 845.1 million US Dollars (15% less than in previous year).

In August 2015 hardwood plywood import in the USA increased to 6% in comparison with the same period of the previous year. Chinese plywood volume increased to 13%
