Within January-August, 2018 chipboard production in Ukraine increased by 7.2% in comparison with the same period of the previous year. Plywood production increased by 2.2%, veneer production showed decrease to 3.7%. Wooden windows production increased by 1.9%, wooden doors – by 7%
Plywood import in Japan in June, 2018 increased by 14% in comparison with the same period of the previous year. However, in comparison with May import volumes decreased by 12%, mostly because of Malaysian plywood reduction
Russian plywood import in the USA within January-June, 2018 increased by 7% in comparison with the same period of the previous year. Also significantly increased plywood import from Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia
Within January-July, 2018 Belarusian woodworking enterprises produced 613 thousand m3 of sawn timber, 1.586 million m3 of chipboards, 167 thousand m3 of plywood. Wooden products were exported to 57 countries

Within January-May, 2018 Belarusian chipboard export volume increased by 39%, plywood – by 55%, hardboard – by 61%, furniture – by 25.6%. Around 50% of the manufactured in Belarus wooden products is exported to European Union, Asia, Africa, North America
Export volume of concern “Bellesbumprom” (Belarus) within 2017 year increased by 42.3% in comparison with the same period of the previous year. The main exported products were chipboard (+62.5%), hardboard (+80.5%), plywood (+69.4%)
