Within January-April, 2018 woodworking mills of Vologda region, Russia produced around 550 thousand cubic meters of timber products. Plywood production increased by 7.3%, chipboard – by 13%, hardboard – by 6.7%, paper – by 4% in comparison with the same period of the previous year.
The government of Vologda region, Russia plans to build the new plywood and chipboard plant with the annual productive capacity around 120 thousand cubic meters of plywood and around 300 cubic meters of chipboard

Within January-March, 2018 Ukrainian plywood production increased by 7.4% in comparison with the same period of the previous year. Spruce sawn timber production increased by 27.5%, pine sawn timber – by 42.6%. Chipboard production increased by 11.6%
